Sunday December 1st 2019
It’s the 1st of December! Have you opened your advent calendar? To start of the festive month I am doing a collab with https://instagram.com/kittyjadeblog?igshid=4t70kqmxigvk
She has a blog and a really pretty Instagram so you should really go check it out! We have been supper busy lately but Erin and I have put together our top 10 Christmas songs! (5 each). It has been extremely hard as we both love Christmas songs and have so many favourites ! I literally love all of the songs below and totally agree with Erins choice! Get reading so you can put a perfect festive playlist together.
My top 5 !!
Jingle bell rock Okay, so jingle bell rock is one of my favourite Christmas songs because it gives me serious mean girl vibes. If you haven’t seen Mean Girls (it’s a movie) you should definitely watch it, especially if you love an up lifting sterotypical girly movie about friendship and boys 🙂
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
I love this song ! It’s a slower Christmas song but I find it so calming and it reminds me of many happy Christmas memories. When it’s playing I just take in everything around me and it almost feels like everything starts to happen in slow motion. (That probably doesn’t make sense, oh well)
I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus
This song reminds me of when I was younger and we would listen to so many Christmas songs on a cd while putting the Christmas tree up! (We still do it ! He he)I remember when I was younger my friends and I used to laugh at the words and thought we were so cool. We still are 😉
Merry Christmas Everyone
Well this is just a classic exciting Christmas song ! Not much more needed to say because it just is.
I wish it could be Christmas everyday And this is another song with childhood memories. Does anyone remember the primary school Christmas party’s? I remember the party games with the tinsel and fairy lights everywhere. My friends and classmates running around or dancing to the festive music. Of course this song is one of the songs that we used to sing at the top of our voices until the song was over:))
Erins top 5!!
Do They Know It’s Christmas? (Feed The World) – Band Aid
What can I say? This song features in the Gavin & Stacey Christmas Special. It will always have a special place in my heart – not only because it features in my favourite sitcom but because it has such a lovely message. I sing my heart out at the ‘feed the world’ part! It’s a good song to put on your party playlist.
Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree
Something about this song reminds me of my earlier Christmasses. When I was 8 or 9 my old school teacher used to play it in the classroom. It was a great time.
Last Christmas – Wham! This song is the anthem for Christmas! As soon as it comes around to December I’m immediately playing this on my CD player. Does anyone else own one or is it just me? I feel quite old-fashioned, even though I got mine only a few years ago!
So did you agree ? I hope you did! I have had so much fun putting this together and it has been amazing to do a collab thank you so much for reading and thank you so much Erin for being an amazing person to collab with!
So I only started having exams this year and I had practice exams in December. That was the first ever time I really sat a proper exam. Kinda scary. But I’ve learnt some things along the way.
My Social Media Thoughts-1
My thoughts on social media- introduction to the series !
One year today… well yesterday !!!
But what would I call it ? Name after name, thought after thought. I was determined to get a name by the end of the day and after many searches and a lil frustration I finally got Emma Blether!
